Our mission is to fuel student ambition by providing educational resources, financial support and opportunities that empower students to build upon ideas they might not otherwise be able to due to financial or accessibility barriers.
Identity
Why "Live Studius"?
Studius (pronounced as studious) is inspired by the word studious, which means to be deeply engaged in learning, to act with intention, and to approach life with care and curiosity.
Live (as in live your life) means more than just existing. It means choosing to show up with intention, ambition, and care.
The hummingbird symbolizes the relentless energy, agility, and resilience that define every ambitious student. Just as it tirelessly seeks nectar, students flourish by chasing knowledge and growth with passion and determination.
Living Studius means embracing a lifestyle rooted in curiosity, growth, and the belief that you are capable of creating great things.

Hi everyone! My name is Anna, and I’m one of the Co-Presidents of the Live Studius Club at Glendale Community College this semester. I’m a Biology major on the pre-medicine track, and I plan to become an OB/GYN because I’ve always had a passion for women’s health and medicine.

Hi, everyone! My name is Sareen Kassabian and I'm honored to serve as your Co-President for this semester. I am a psycholinguistics major in hopes of getting into the medical field.

I wanted to join Live Studius because I really liked the club's goal of helping students succeed and making their college experience easier. I also wanted to be part of building a community where students can support each other, make connections, and have access to resources they may not have known about before.

Hey! I'm Mariana, I’m a biology major with a passion for marine biology, and I plan on pursuing a career in research. I currently work at GCC's vivarium as an animal caretaker, and outside my studies, I enjoy playing video games, knitting, and reading.
